It’s hard being an artist, which is why I am compelled to share what I’ve learned as I’ve stumbled along. Here are some of my favorite resources to fuel the unique art in your own life.

EDUCATION:
-Udemy: My husband and I have used this amazing online education organization for music, recording, and art education. A course generally costs no more than $15, plus you have lifetime access to the videos. Log on now and see what you can learn for the cost of a restaurant meal.
-Your Public Library: I’m probably Multnomah County Library’s biggest donor due to my chronic late fees. However, the amount of money I would have spent buying all these books and movies can’t even compare. Use your public library and it will save you money, even if you do have an occasional $50+ late fee.
-Your Local Community College: I am amazed at the variety of courses and the affordable price of community college classes. I took an entire term of basic ballroom for $60. What?!
BOOKS:
There are way too many books for me to list as my favorites for creative living, but here are a few of my go-to’s. Some of these I have read the hard copy, others I have done the audio book route. Read however your schedule permits, but by all means, please read. And send me your book recommendations. I update my Goodreads account constantly. *Even though the book might target writers, these are great for anyone.
