CREATIVE SERVICES

Are you on the lookout for creative opportunities? I sure am. I’m always trying to incorporate color and music and laughter into everything I do. Below are some of the ways I try to spread a little joy.

~Wild Violinist in Portland

It’s still hard to believe that playing violin is my career. My primary labor of love via my fiddle is Chasing Ebenezer, a folk rock band with world influences. Here’s a photo of the talented gentlemen who let me play with them. Visit my music tab where you can stream our tunes on Spotify or download them directly from iTunes/cdBaby/Amazon.

CREATIVE PROJECTS

~The Web Show

The Chasing Ebenezer Show is a Patreon web series that encourages you to let out your creativity. That’s what my co-host Benjamin and I do. In each episode, we talk, play you a song, and give you an artistic prompt. You can watch us YouTube & Facebook. Become one of our patrons and get various show perks.

~Session Work

It’s an incredibly humbling experience to record on another musician’s project. In addition to my own recording work with Chasing Ebenezer, I’ve had the privilege to record for Kyle Lewis, Dialectic Flowers, David Johnson, & Castletown.

~Violin Lessons

-Violin Lesson Promo Video

We all need others to help us with our musical dreams. I teach beginner and intermediate violin lessons for kids and adults. I also help violinists learn how to play off of chords, which is especially useful when playing in a band setting. I’m available for virtual and in-person lessons.

~Art Classes

I can teach you how to paint specific pieces of art, whether that’s as an individual or as a group. Visit the gallery page to see some of my creations.

~Public Speaking

The first time I was ever on the radio, I was eighteen years old and so excited. To my chagrin, I could not stop laughing. Many years have passed since then, and thankfully, I’m able to control my laughter. I’ve had the privilege of speaking in front of large groups as well as being interviewed on podcasts. Yes, I’m one of those crazy people who actually enjoys public speaking. I have a blast co-hosting The Chasing Ebenezer Show with my husband Benjamin, and I frequently find a microphone in front of me. Topics I’m passionate about sharing are music, creativity, imperfection, community, and my relationship with God.

~Bereavement Services

Death is such a painful part of the human story. For this reason, it is a privilege to provide comfort for funeral services.

~Sing Down Memory Lane

I am passionate about bringing music to folks experiencing Alzheimers/dementia. Watch the Alive Inside documentary and you to witness the power of music in bringing meaning to those with memory loss .

~Sacred Facilitation

I come from a long line of family members who have loved Jesus and grown up loving hymns & spirituals. I also write some of my own sacred music. I have the privilege of leading music at several churches in the Portland area. I love to create an environment that fosters artistic expression inspired by the God, the Divine Creator.
